Once enrolled on a programme with a training provider the apprenticeship programme will involve the following:

• Initial assessment and induction
• Training sessions- online or in person
• Functional skills in Maths and English, if required
• Skills coach visits
• Gathering portfolio evidence
• End point assessment

As an existing staff member, the apprenticeship programme needs to align to your current role.

You will need to have a conversation with your manager to ensure support and involvement during this period of learning. A typical programme lasts 18 months.
